The Muppet Personality Test

Okay, I think I did the copy/paste the right way this time :) LOL I think some of these are cute :)

Not much going on today...I've got a lunch date with Grade School (JJ & Missy might know her as my friend since 6th grade...red hair, was in my wedding...yada yada yada). We're going to Pickety Place for lunch :) I haven't been there in a while, and am looking forward to "hangin" with her :) We haven't just hung out for a while...

Better go...I've gotta get ready!! :)

Here's my potty training advice - we just went through this with Joe in August so it's pretty fresh in my mind. Pardon the pun...

Joe wouldn't wear pullups, absolutely loved his diapers, so finally we stopped buying diapers and made him wear underwear. He had a huge fear of the toilet and his potty chair, so I bought him a seat converter that fit right on our toilet seat (they're $14 at wal-mart, or for that matter, I still have ours if you want it) and pulled his stepper up to the toilet so he could get up by himself. Then I had a "Get to know the toilet" party - that's when I started having him clean the toilet (Joe is 4, remember) and I showed him where the extra toilet paper is, and let him look inside the tank, etc. Then I made a reward chart for him and every time he did a #1 he got a sticker and a #2 got 2 stickers. Well he liked that because I put a picture of the prize he was working on and he could see how many he had to go. Daycare would give him little pieces of licorice as a prize. We had a lot of accidents, but he finally got the hang of it. Oh! I keep books in the bathroom for him to read because he would be so nervous that he couldn't go but reading distracted him. It's not uncommon to see Joe flying through the house with a book in hand and hearing the bathroom door slam. I would try that with Princess, especially if she's going a few minutes after she gets off. Or bring in a favorite toy - or buy an inexpensive toy and that's the only time she can play with it. Sorry this is so long, potty training is so difficult but once they get the hang of it, look out!

Love in Faith,
Josy

PS if accidents were really bad, I would tell Joe that this was the last pair of underwear he had left so he had to keep them dry or go naked.
